They are now looking for a Platform Engineer who will be expected to Maintain & Support a Suite of Cloud Based Services to Engineering Teams & Ensure Availability of the Platform to Consumers of the Service
Key Responsibilities of DevOps Engineer will include:
- Engineering Support: Support Engineering Requests for Assistance with Platform Related Changes & Pipelines
- DevOps Platform Support: Administration of DevOps Platform, Ensuring Efficient & Secure Operations of GitHub & AWS Environments
- AWS Expertise: Develop & Maintain an Understanding of AWS Cloud Architectures. Leverage AWS Tools & Services to Design & Implement Scalable, Reliable & Secure Cloud Solutions
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop & Maintain Infrastructure using Cloud Formation & Terraform, Ensuring Robust, Scalable & Maintainable Infrastructure Solutions
- Containerization & Orchestration: Implement & Support Containerization Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes & Helm
- Security: Implement Security across All Platform Operations, including Vulnerability Management, Access Controls, Relevant Tooling & Compliance with Industry Standards
Skills & Requirements of Platform Engineer role will include:
- Minimum of 2 Years Experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering Roles
- Proven Experience with GitHub, Circle CI, AWS, CloudFormation, IaC Tooling
- Understanding of AWS Cloud Architectures & Ability to Leverage AWS Toolsets Effectively.
- Hands-On Experience with Containerization Technologies eg. Docker & Kubernetes (ideally) including Amazon EKS & ECS
- Demonstrated Experience in Applying Security Best Practices in DevOps Environment
- Fintech or Financial Services Experience is Desirable
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills & Proactive Approach to Identifying & Addressing Challenges
- Ability to Work in Fast-Paced, Dynamic Environment & Manage Multiple Priorities
