Role Overview:
This is a great opportunity for a career focused Cyber Security Engineer to join their dynamic Cyber Security Engineering Team, focusing on Technical System Design, Data Security & Functional Audits, Ensuring that Systems & Services are Built with Both Privacy & Security by Design.
You’ll work with a Highly Skilled Security Department of Circa 45, Collaborating Closely with Architecture, Governance & Compliance to Tackle Evolving Security Challenges, while leveraging Cutting-Edge Technologies and expanding your expertise in both Traditional & Cloud-Based Security Solutions. Best suited for this with Comprehensive Security Implementation Experience with Microsoft & Linux OS.
Skills & Experience of Cyber Security Engineer will include:
- Experience within Cyber Security Engineering
- Practical Experience with SIEM, Firewalls, SASE Solutions & Privileged Access Management (PAM) Systems.
- Good Understanding of Data Encryption, Key Management & PKI.
- Expertise within Cloud Security (such as Azure, AWS & Office 365), Automation Tools & Scripting Languages (eg. Python, Java, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of ITIL Principles & Security Governance Frameworks (such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, CIS Controls).
Responsibilities of Cyber Security Engineer will include:
- Deploy & Oversee Security Tools & Technologies to effectively protect the IT environment.
- Contribute to Security Engineering Projects, Performing In-Depth Investigations & Developing Robust Security Solutions.
- Monitor System Alerts & Incidents, Providing Detailed Analysis, Reporting & Rapid Response to Emerging Threats
- Create, Update & Manage Comprehensive Technical Documentation, Execute Routine Security Checks
- Collaborate with Stakeholders, Engineering & Architecture Teams to Ensure Compliance with Security Requirements & Solutions, with Strong Focus on Linux OS.
